Albany City Wind Ensemble – ‘Thank You for the Music’ Tour

The Albany City Wind Ensemble is pleased to present two concerts in Narrogin and Pingelly on Saturday 16/05/2026 as part of our ‘Thank You for the Music’ Tour.

This tour acknowledges the generous donation of the music library from the Great Southern Concert Band and celebrates community music-making across the region.

Both events offer opportunities for the community to get involved, whether by trying an instrument, joining in rehearsal, or enjoying a live performance.

Narrogin – Narrogin Town Hall

A daytime program featuring a Try an Instrument session, community band rehearsal, and a relaxed afternoon concert. Community musicians and singers are warmly invited to participate, with a combined choir finale.

Pingelly – Pingelly Recreation & Cultural Centre

An evening concert following a Try an Instrument session, showcasing the Albany City Wind Ensemble and a combined community choir.

We welcome community musicians and local music groups to take part in the Narrogin event, as well as singers to join the combined community choir at both concerts.
